Check out the festive fun in the Fall/Christmas section!

I recently read a meme that said something like "The crafters of the world are passing the time by creating handmade goodness". As a crafter myself, I can definitely confirm that this is true.
At the beginning of the pandemic last year, fabric stores, craft shops and crafting supply companies started selling out of their items. People realized that if they were going to be stuck at home, they may as well make the best of this time. As a result of that, a beautiful trend started happening. People were sewing and donating masks to hospitals and long term care facilities; they were knitting socks and mittens to donate to shelters; and quilted blankets were being donate to hospital wards. Not only were these organizations benefiting from these donated items but, the makers were busy creating to ignore the noise of the world.
At the beginning of the year, last year, I expanded my business to offer more than just handmade cards. I was busy making scarves; quilts; table runners and cross stitched items. This was a lifesaver for me as I was able to stay away from the doom and gloom of the news and my hands/brain were kept busy. To watch a project come to life under your fingers is something else - and it helps push me through those tough days.
Funny enough, with everything caught up and orders shipped, I decided to take the weekend off. Well, that lasted maybe about 2 hours and ended up burying myself in my craft bunker. I guess this is my version of therapy - and I'll gladly take it!
